Ok I'm in the market for some binos in the $300ish range. I've looked over the Nikon Monarch's in the past and they seem pretty nice for the money.
Reading reviews and advice here I began to research the Minox... in fact I just now got back from Sportsmens Warehouse in Provo a short time ago where I was able to hold them both and compare them both side by side. Truth be told I really didnt see that much of a difference between them (perhaps my eyes are that bad now lol). Their prices are the same between camo Monarchs and the green Minox.
Do people that have tried both really find the Minox to be that much better? I was comparing them by reading text on packages on the far end of the store and couldnt really see any clarity difference... perhaps thats more evident out in the field or in low light conditions?
