114-115 Late Muley Tag

Hey everyone!! I finally drew a late season muley tag in 114-115. I have very little experience in the unit. The time spent was for an antlerless elk tag and it didn't turn up many Muleys. I'm hoping to scout prior to the hunt, but have a newborn, so that maybe a difficult convo with wife.

I was hoping someone could help a veteran out with a lil intel on some areas of interest. So I can study and make a plan for. I appreciate all and any help. Hope everyone has a great hunting season.

There are a lot of Junior tags for that area. Check out their quota and season dates.

The last few days in these units will offer quality buck opportunities and few will put in effort needed. Hunt highest elevations when possible. Great Tag, good luck ... Bruce & SilverGrand

Tagged out on my first buck last night of the hunt. Not the target buck we were chasing, but it's meat in the freezer. Had a couple lookers give us the slip cutting the yardage.
All in all great hunt, great time and most of all much appreciative of the folks who reached out.

My wife had the late season muzzy tag years ago. It’s the coldest I’ve ever been.

Couldn't believe how warm it was during the day. Was hoping for pre rut action but when it's high 50s during the day no such luck.
