121 Deer

Who hunted 121 in 09? Just curious what your experience was? I hunted it for the first time this year and was not very successful. Just wondering how everyone else did, early and late?

I have'nt hunted it in alot of years, but when I did there was always deer in there. I went up there pinenut gathering this year and saw alot of elk though.

The pine nuts are a hell of a lot better than the deer are in 12. Mature bucks were few and far between

Thats what I experienced, a lot of young deer and a lot of people gathering pine nuts! Any other insights on the unit? I had high expectations for this hunt and was really let down, but for some reason feel like I want to hunt it again. I spent a lot of time around telegraph peak, should I have been hunting lower?
