The kiabab national forest map should have at least some of the water holes. The best water holes are not on a map, and if you find one please don't share it. Some things people should just have to get out there and work for, secret water holes are one of them.
If you have the means or know a pilot, flying over is a great way to find water without any roads to it. I have never done this myself but have friends who have. Great way to find what no one else can see.

I bought the map in my opinion it was not worth the 50 bucks just scout around. I walked to 3 tricktanks only to find that the map was so old it didnt show the roads that wqent to the tank and I thought I was hiking in the hard way to get to the honey hole. It only shows about 75 % of the actual roads up there as of 2009 just my 2 cents.
