13 bulls yet?

my buddy got a small 4x, and seen some real nice ones. he just wasnt able to get on them.

Thats kinda what I heard,they where not active during the day.And the big ones are staying outside range.Lots of looks but not close enough for the bow hunters.Hopefully the rain we have gotten will help with the temps.I was told by a neighbor/local outfitter they are in the area I'm focusing on,helps to have other eyes out there.

I talked to a guy the other night getting take out dinner and he and his buddies had just got back with a cow. They said it was a tough hunt but they did see one bull that had them all trying, just never closed the deal.Sept was a bit hotter so the rut may have started a tad bit later. I know the bulls are going nutts in 17 right now...

Any recent reports? What no bow folks here get one? I've heard of some good ones from locals.
