14 tags cut from archery hunt???

Does anyone know why the Diamond Mtn Archery elk hunt took a huge hit in tag numbers? 2009 there were 18 tags, last year (2010) there were 4 tags. That is a huge hit in tags for the archery hunt. That will screw up a bunch of people's plans for sure.
Is there a reason for this? Or is it just the DWR at it's best again? Maybe SFW needed a few extra tags to give away at a fundraiser or something.

I don't know for sure about specific numbers on Diamond, but they are consistantly below their age objective on that unit. Maybe they cut all the tags?

They had to give more to the landowners so they could sell them for 10k. Pissed as well

If you look at the numbers from the divisions website they say that 15 tags were issued in 2010. I have noticed several numbers wrong from looking at hunterstrailhead.com and a few others. So I only go off the divisions numbers right from their website.

Go to wildlife.utah.gov, then to Big Game, then scroll down to where it says Big Game Bonus Point Draw Results, then look for Diamond Mtn Archery, it is page 149.

I usually open one window with that then another window with the 2010 Big Game Proc so I can get the right unit. They list them by hunt number.
