180 inch Columbia Blacktail Buck

I saw a picture of this buck on the Bend/ Oregon area Facebook marketplace classifieds. The posting has since been taken down. I have a hard time believing this is a real 180" Columbia Blacktail Buck. Something doesn't look right in this picture. What do you guys think?

I'm with you. It's too spindly to be a mature Blacktail. I say no way.

plus 1 on the spindly bases. “fro” looks wierd, tiny ear and pedicle gap too wide. Taxi fake (mule deer antlers, blacktail cape) is my guess!

That's what I was thinking, blacktail cape with mule deer antlers. Those antlers would be thicker if that was a trophy blacktail

Terrible mount! It does look like the spacing on the antlers (pedicle) are too far apart. Just looks weird.

Only a DNA test would convince me that's a black tail.

I'm a B&C measurer near Bend and I've never seen or heard anything about it.
