201 2nd season antlered deer

Hi All,

I drew a 2nd season buck tag for 201. I have done a search of past thread but thought i would reach out for some updated information about the unit as I have never been there. Specifically, is it worth bringing a ATV, the water situation, road conditions, altitude or part of the unit that is most productive for deer. Basically anything that can help me in the planning process. Thanks!

Yes bring an ATV. Bring lots of gas plenty of food and beer. It's a long way back to town.

Yea definitely bring an atv and lots of fuel. I was only in that area a couple days and don't have much intel on deer. You can get to the top of the different mountains and glass across. So bring the best glass you can.

ATV and lots of gas, water, and other necessary provisions. Plenty of drainages to look over and don't really think one place is better than the other in 201 either.
