The discussion about turkeys using burned over areas got me to do some digging and I found some maps that might be useful for folks this spring or in the fall.

Most of the files I downloaded and opened had a GoogleEarth file that makes it easy to see where fires burned severely (moonscape) vs. a more beneficial ground fire. I was surprised to see the Miller fire in the Gila didn't burn that hot in most places.
