LAST EDITED ON Mar-29-12 AT 09:40AM (MST)[p]Here are some pics of my dad's 2011 NV bull. We got him at the end of the second day of our hunt. It was my 2 brothers, my dad and I all on the hunt. My brother (horndog) spotted this bull from about a mile away the first morning of our hunt. Dad took a look at him in the spotter and told us that was the bull he wanted. We watched him go into the trees and then tried to get into position. We didn't see him again that day. The next morning we found him right where we lost him the previous morning. Again, we got into position. My 2 brothers and dad stayed in the area while I tried to find closer access for the quads. They sat patiently for 6 hours. After passing on several other bulls as they came out for afternoon feeding, they spotted him. He was the last bull to exit the trees, right where we watched him go in at. Dad put a bullet in him from 630 yards. The bull is a true 8x8 and very heavy. Not a lot of length or width, but it was the bull he wanted and he got him. What a great family experience. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. Enjoy.....
All 4 of us together after the kill.
Us 3 brothers packing him out. I'm in the center with horndog on the right.
