2017 Kaibab--should be another GREAT year fopr those who are patient!

For those lucky enough to draw a west side Kaibab tag this year, I think you're gonna be in for a treat!

Lots of well timed moisture is gonna produce some very nice racks again this year.

And with the hunt dates being a little deeper into the rut, I'm expecting to see and bag some bombers on that late hunt.

Here is what we got last year.

Rick Thompson and his last day buck. We passed well over 100 bucks before Rick decided to take this one!

Rick passed this buck not once, but TWICE and our friend Angel Bell took it on Day 8.

This is another good buck we passed on last year!We named this buck "Stickers" and with him was an old regression buck we called "Bully."

I have one opening for both an early and a late west side tag holder if anyone is interested.

I agree with Don that it should be good year; the stars are aligning (i.e. seasonal moisture, timing of rifle seasons, habitat quality & mature buck #'s) for a red letter year. Based on what I saw last year and my pre-season scouting this year, I'd give Don the nod if I had a tag. Good luck to all!

I agree with you 100%. It Should be a banner year & some toads should be harvested. I'll be on the sidelines with 16-Pts watching the whole game. Good Luck to everyone with a golden ticket!
