Looks good but why did you choose Oak color for the pedestal? Dark walnut or old barnwood would have made that sucker pop with your background.

There was a miscommunication with the taxidermist. I honestly thought I was getting a darker barnwood look. I may try to stain it a darker color or build a barnwood one at some point. Thanks for the input!

U must confirm with the taxidermist a couple times, u now all the Bondo and Lacquer fumes makes us burn up brain cells at a rapid pace. ? ?

Haha! I get a 2nd hand high every time I go in there between the fumes and skull plate dust from the grinder! He's a great dude and does some damn fine work so I'm 99% sure it was probably my fault! No worries either way as I'm stoked with the mount!
