2022 stats

The stats from last year are up. Pretty interesting to look at. I have leaned on these a lot historically but I can say there are a few on there that I know for a fact are not accurate. Seems like the data here is not accurate in many areas, but I know a few for fact. I also realized that the fcfs harvests are not included on the hunt stat sheets. Makes sense they wouldn’t be I guess but it definitely alters success rates and size class percentages.

Just a quick look through there at the "popular units", the hunter satisfaction and kill rates seem really low. Many of those units are in rough shape from talking with guys the last couple years I know that. I have to wonder also at the kill stats in some of those units. Are the guide draw rifle deer tags included in these stats ??

What is not accurate about the data? Honest question.

That said, they finally cut tags in 13 last year. Hopefully they stay cut until the unit can recover.
