2024 Deer Season Dates

I'm one point short for the tag I want this year for the 3rd season. However, a friend was saying that 2023 is the last year of the dates being set back and 2024 the tag will move forward like they used to be and resemble the dates of what the second season dates are now so I might as well just draw the second season this year.
Does anyone know what 2024 deer season dates will look like?.

Not until the new 5 year season structure is voted on and approved.

The 2024 dates were approved in 2019.

2024 1st Separate Limited Elk 10/12- 10/16
2nd Combined Deer & Elk 10/26- 11/03
3rd Combined Deer & Elk 11/09- 11/15
4th Combined Limited Deer & Elk 11/20- 11/24

Yeah I wouldn't trust those or the commission until the proclamation is printed.

Like already mentioned above, the 2024 dates are already set.

Are you paying attention? The old 5 year plan was for 2020 thru 2024. The next 5 year plan will be 2025 thru 2029.

Great, thank you all for your input. It looks like I'll wait until next year then to draw the tag. That specific tag gives me this year about a 6 percent chance but should be able to draw it next year and I have an antelope and elk tag I'll most likely get this year to go on so it's good to know that 2024 will still have good dates.
