How many reloads can you typically get out of a .22-.250 case? I look for the obvious pressure marks and case wear and toss them. But is there a "number" you get to and throw it out regardless of marks? For some of my brass its round number 5, is this too many times?
My current load is 40 grains of H380, with a 50 grain Nosler BT. It seems to be the sweet spot for my gun. And my brass is winchester.
Thanks

LAST EDITED ON Dec-12-08 AT 03:03PM (MST)[p]my load is the same as yours, and after 5 fireings, i load them with a cheap bullet, and varius powder that is almost gone and put them into an ammo can for storage, i do this with most of my different calibers. i have been made fun of for this, i have a bunch of ammo in storage, vaccume sealed in ammo can's!

I think you could get a bunch more loads out of a 22-250, but brass is so cheap (used to be) i havent seen a need for it.

and before someone ask's, i dont have an underground bunker in the backyard, but the thought has crossed my mind!

sure sounds like bunker ammo to me.....lol
