223 Bolt Actions

I have a Model 700. I like how this one shoots, below are two groups I shot recently. The tight one is made of 27 grns of BLC-2 with a 55 grn HPBT, the other one is factory Remington 55grn FMJ that I normally shoot in my AR.
Any other members with 223 bolts out there?

My remington shoots awesome. 1/4" at 100 with h4198 20 gr. and 50 gr. Speer TNT. Love shooting things with it. Head shots only.

LAST EDITED ON Jul-08-14 AT 03:56PM (MST)[p]I bought a M700 5R tactical last year (B&C M40 stock,1 in 9 twist, fluted 24" bull barrel,factory ceracoated.) I glass bedded the recoil lug and dropped a Timney 510 trigger in it.

The gun shoots 1/4 to 1/2 MOA 5 shot groups at 200 yards with factory match and varmint loads. I could not be happier with it.

I topped it with a 15 MOA Leupold Mark 4 picitiny base and steel rings with a Sightron S3 6x24x50 with the MOA 2 reticle. The 1/4 moa dot in the center is awesome for precision shooting.
