So...I'm off to hunt my Muzzy elk on Thursday. Good scouting trips and saw a few nice bulls. Will post pics as soon as it's over.

Have seen a few but not as much as we should though. We have seen them moving late in the morning though...so don't head back for lunch, stay out and hunt.

So...the hunt is over. I passed on several 5 pts and a 6pt as well as the lesser bulls. On Monday with 20 minutes of light left we saw a 6pt that I was willing to take. He entered a stand of trees as we put our best sneak on him. There is a little spring in the trees that we knew about so we waited by the water. Well he either heard us or just decided to not come out until dark, so my partnermoved over to the north to see if he could help pressure him out of the stand. The bull only had two options go north or south. No pics so we know what he did. All in all it was a good hunt. Like I always say, you can't get the big one if you don't pass on the small one. Ahh, but there is a price to pay as you all know. Thanks to all that helped...Harvey, Andy, Gale, Mike and Tom.

Hvvyshot12 , sorry to hear to that you didn't get a bull . I'm heading to 231 very soon for the rifle tag . I will try and get some revenge for you , and put a bull on the ground . Good tip about staying out during lunch time . During my scouting trips I saw them moving around during the day . I'm going to hit it hard , and see what happens .
