231 Late rifle Elk

Just wondering if anyone can give me any info on quality of bulls, hunting pressure etc. Have hunted deer there in 08 so I am familar with unit, not looking for your honey holes just general info.

Nothing has changed in 231 in last few years,since last time You were there.No new fire areas and elk are still where You find-em.Good Luck,you have drawn a great elk tag --- Bruce & Silvergrand

Congrats on a very hard to draw tag. I have seen pics of some great bulls....one of them was just over 390. I have never personally hunted elk here but have friends that have and loved it. Good luck!

My Buddie drew this tag last year and It was one of the best hunts I have ever been on, we had seen alot really good quality bulls with some pressure but not too bad, most of the nice bulls we had seen were either in the hay fields or in the burn area. thats a Great tag
