Got lucky again this year. Shot this guy at first light this morning after a very brutal hike up the steepest hill I have ever had the unfortunate pleasure to climb. But you know what they say about the end justifying the means, well this climb was definitely justified.
First shot was 251 yards, facing straight on. At the shot he turned and tried to run downhill, but was having a tough time with his front shoulder busted. 2nd shot was on the move and hit too far back, but put him on the ground. He still had his head up so I took another shot at 291 and killed him for good. He then proceeded to roll down the hill at a pretty good rate, luckily he has a decent rack that helped slow him down He finally came to rest in a somewhat awkward position. My first shot would have been fatal as it penentrated near the entire length of his body, I recovered the bullet in the rear ham.
As he lay......
