Just purchased a Remington 700 SPS in 260 Rem with a 1:8 twist and a 24" barrel. This gun will be primarily be set up for antelope and deer. I have a .338 RUM that shoots the 225 grain Accubond sub moa so I have the big stuff covered. I want a gun that's a little more fun to shoot and tote around. So far, since the twist in my barrel is sufficient for the heavier bullets, I am thinking of trying the 140 grain Berger's due to the lower velocity of the 260 but I don't want to rule out the 140 grain Accubond either. I haven't heard much good about the ABLR but would possibly tinker with the 130 grain Scirrocco II. Anyone shoot this caliber and bullets or feel knowledgeable enough to give an opinion, please do.
