Thanks, Any collectors value in them? I have never seen this chambering before in a Savage rifle. But, I also have one and don't want to screw it up by changing the stock or doing to much customizing for it.
i sorta doubt it. i mean it ain't like they're pre 64 winchester or something. not a bad rifle. his is real accurate and has shot a lot of game, but i've never heard of a demand from collectors. shoot the hell out of it and pass it on to your kids.
I think you may have a good plan. I'll either shoot the crap out of it or sell it. I thought it may be rare as I have never seen one before. It sure shoots good and with a little trigger work it should shoot better. I'll be hard pressed to use it much though, I think my .270 would have a heart attack!!
