28 Days of Fall

As I sit here at my desk reflecting on this year?s hunting seasons I realized how lucky and blessed I've been. I was able to enjoy 28 days in the field with family and friends doing what I truly love to do. We had a great year and the animals we were able to harvest was only a small part. Being able to take my wife on her first hunt and introduce her to the sport was a highlight. Sharing the warmth of a camp fire, the cool crisp morning air, or the shrill of an elk bugle and the camaraderie of family and friends only helped to enhance the experiences. I noticed the pictures and posts were slowing down and decided to share, thanks.

I was able to spend 12 days during the archery hunt chasing elk on Monroe with my brother in law on his hunt. He harvested this elk on the last morning, an end to a perfect hunt.

This is my youngest son with a deer I shot on the muzzleloader hunt. We were able to spend 5 days with a friend and his boys enjoying the hunting and fishing on Dutton.

Next is my wife?s hunt at the Book cliffs. 4 days of beautiful weather and sharing her 1st hunt was the highlight of fall!!

Last I was able to spend 7 days hunting in Colorado with friends. We shared a lot of laughs and fun together.
