These critters are flirting with death most the time, and for an animal that can sustain itself from the water in the vegetation, they sure do love it when there is fresh water around.Just ran across this thread. I just drew 29/30 archery for barbary sheep, and I'm starting really diving into researching the hunt. My biggest question for y'all is how does one determine if the land is suitable for sheep? I can look on OnX all day and find plenty of areas that are cliffy and roadless. Is there anything else to look for when e-scouting? I appreciate seeing the suggestion to just getting up high and glassing forever, as well as taking a UTV with gas/food/water/tire repair kit.
