got his buck 1st. thing this morning 150 yd. shot

sorry about all the pictures, but am very proud of him. 10yrs. old and very excited. first animal he's ever taken. took 2 shots to figure out he was over excited. finally hitting him on the 3rd. shot. all this from a single shot .243

Nice work!! My boy had to take a couple of shots to "clean the dust out of the barrel" too, and your story brought out opressed memories of a little buck fever I may or may not have had when I was that age.

Tell your son congrats on the buck, he'll remember this one forever. Killed my first bull this year, a raghorn but nonetheless a trophy in my book.

What a fine buck you have, Their is nothing like being in the field with your Dad and being successful, Those will be days you will Cherish for the rest of your life.
We also just got back from my sons 2A youth hunt which he was also successful. I would show you his Buck but don't know how to load them on here.
