This is my son's first buck. We looked over several smaller bucks before finally finding this guy. This hunt was a blast...everything we had heard about. We saw 50-100 doe and yearling bucks a day.

A Big congratulations to your son. That is one nice buck. I bet he was stoked when he walked up to that buck. Bucks like that are what dreams are made of.
I bet that was an exciting time for you too. There is nothing like spending time in the outdoors with kids.

Congrats on a great buck!By chance do you drive a white super duty? I saw a tremendous buck in the back of one and hadnt seen any thing even close to that bucks size till you posted your sons buck.

Don , my dad passed up 4 shot opps on 4 really young bucks.We saw somewhere around 200-250 deer, all younger bucks with only 1 nice 4x4 and he just didn't want to stand still long enough...My little sisters hunt was tough , she is ultra slow and just never got on a buck in time and she had plenty of time and chance believe me...
