300wsm reloads (beginner advice)

Hey guys, I have a sako tecomate 300wsm and a leupold vx3L scope with cds turret. I am a total beginner with this reloading stuff, would anyone be willing to give me recommendations on where to begin? I would like a load
for Muleys and elk. Bullet? Powder?

First off I don't own one of these so I'm just going by a reloading book. I would stay with the 165/168 bullets. The powder that looks real good for this round is Superperformance if you plan on reloading. I like Nosler bullets. i have a 3wsm howa/ christsen arms barrel i use reloader 19 powder , and 180 accubond bullets fed 215 primer cci 250 work good to

I've got a Tikka T3 Lite in 300WSM and load 180 Accubonds as well, only with H4350. The elk I've killed with it didn't live long enough to complain. If you don't have any, get a few reloading manuals and start experimenting to see what your gun likes. My Steyr-Mannlicher Model S 7mm Rem Mag decided it liked 160 grain grand slams over IMR4831 at the middle charge setting from the Speer #11 manual. Have used that load for over 20 years because it works.

Heres some of my better test loads Ive came up with. Some of them I dont use as I havent been able to find enough bullets to make worthwhile, but neverless the info.

In my 300WSM I use IMR4350 with either 165 or 180 grain partitions.
My brother-in-law uses Reloader 17 in his 300WSM with 168 gr Barnes tipped triple shock
