.357 Mag for short range

How many have taken a deer with the .357 Mag. Saw a few nice bucks in a short range weapons only area and never taken a deer with a hangun. I know a lot of people take them with a scoped .44 but I'll be using open sights bow range (40 yrds max).

With a good bullet/ shot placement not an issue.

I’ve killed a bunch of cats and bears, no problem.

I have taken, doe deer, cow elk and doe antelope with my .454 Casul w/10 inch barrel and 2x scope.



I needed a rest for sure though! like a Primos shooting stix---
