400 wolves!?

I just came across an article from a couple years ago. I don't remember hearing about it then, but my jaw dropped today when I read it.

I know it is an extreme situation, but 400 wolves banding together!!! Wow. Not so sure it is a good idea to let them take over their former range in the US.

What elk herd? The article did mention that they eat rabbits, I wonder if thats because there isn't any big game left?
