6C first hunt success

Hello everyone,

This is my first post, but I have been reading them for years.
Anyone who hunted 6C this year knows how hard it was to get away from hunters and find bulls. My buddy Matt who is a first time bow hunter made a perfect front on shot with this bull at 22 yards. Had a great time with Matt my dad and my brother in law regardless of the outcome. This bull was just icing on the cake. Im ready for my chance to let arrows fly in a couple weeks down in South Texas!

congrats im sure it wasnt a easy hunt since most the unit was burned. 6c was tough before the fire cant even imagine how it is this year

It was a weird year. The rut is certainly later than last year

Nice fat young bull,good eats for sure! I hope your right about the rut.They aren't talking much around here yet and dispersed.My hunt is next month,I might still hit the end of it.
