7 X 7 bull elk taken at 592 yards!

I did a TV show (Back At Camp) with a guy from Kingman who is a very accomplished long range shooter.

He drew a early bull tag this year for northern AZ and on the second day of the hunt he smokes a clean 7 X 7!

He waited for 3 hours before he took the shot to make sure everything was perfect!

Let me just say that this kind of hunting is NOT for everyone and that only accomplished long range shooters should try this kind of shot!

Yes, that picture is clearly "off" in the alignment of the antlers. I hope the tops and bottoms are from the same elk.

That is the photo I got from the hunter.

One heck of a shot I'd say.

About two weeks later his 14-year-old son used the same rifle to tip over a cow in the same unit at exactly 600 yards!

I know cause I was watching the elk.

I didn't know there was anyone on that elk so I sent my hunters in while I watched from about 1000 yards off.

All of a sudden the elk just kinda folded up!

Wind was blowing some so I didn't even hear the shot.

Next day my two hunters took cows out of a herd of 15 that included 9 bulls!

Their shots were at 225 and 275.
