7mm velocity

LAST EDITED ON Aug-09-09 AT 09:41PM (MST)[p]I'm shooting a Rem700 7mm, 26" barrel using 66.0 grains of IMR4831, cci250 primers, and 140 grain Nosler Accubond. Any guesses as to the muzzle velocity I'm pushing?

I'm thinking around 3,075. I'll be testing here in a few days.

You should be close to that, Im shooting a 26 inch barrel with boss, imr 4831 with 61 grains with winchester magnum primers and a 168gr. berger bullet and i'm right at 2900.

3100+ if not 3200+ you are a bit above the max for the data i have.

I am shooting a 168 berger in the 7mm weatherby with 70 grains of H4831 at 3210. 10 shot average, thats a 24" barrel.

REDDOG, Your right, going back just now I had the wrong load specs for that load, I am at 3390 FPS with the Barnes load, you are correct...........

Remington 700 with a 26 inch barrel. 4831 powder. What bullet recomended to shoot? And about what velocity should I expect? I would like to stay 150 or higher and using the gun for elk and deer.
