A good week in Nevada

Started the week helping a friend who had drawn a Sheldon pronghorn tag. I had the tag in 2007, so was glad to help out when he asked.

A great buck by all measures.

Then off to Northeast Nevada for my archery mule deer hunt. Great fun, great bucks, and a wonderful time with my long-time hunting buddies.

Very nice animals guys! A hard horned deer. I think that's the first I've seen this year. Nice big smiles too.

nice buck...the ones I was seeing in NE Nevada last week were still in full velvet.

Great animals guys! I was in 051 all last week and saw a few deer that had already rubbed off their velvet and a couple in transition.
