i have one of these scopes layin around at my house and i was thinking about putting this on my new .270 wsm mainly because i dont want to spend 300 more on a new leupold. the only thing i dont like about this scope is that it is only 9x other than that i like the scope, seems to be well made and is very clear. if i was going to get another scope it would be a leupold 4-12x40 which goes for about 250. how do you think the alpen would up against the magnum recoil?
