Altlerless cc hits ?

Called Cabela's this morning and have two $50.00 hits. Two out of three not bad and plenty of meat in the freezer. Now I just have to wait to see which two of the three drew. I put in for muzzleloader elk and also put two boys in for rifle elk on Deseret.

I got one hit for 100.00 That is a group of two. One single hit for 50.00. Three of us had one point. So I would think it is us three . As your 45.00 hit not sure what that is ? Is a antlerless deer tag less then a elk ? Maybe that what it is.

The 45 is for a double doe pronghorn tag. Are they even good to eat i have been told both sides not sure if i will kill two maybe just one.

Always enjoyed all of our antelope meat. Lately I have cut up the back straps and tenderlions into steaks and then de-boned the rest of the meat and taken it out to tooele to Thompsons Smoke House and had salami and beef sticks made.

The antelope hunt is always first and the salami an beef sticks are on all the remaining hunts ofthe year for salami, cheese and cracker in camp or in the back pack on the mountian.

If I don't draw any antelope in any of the states then I will take out deer or elk meat, but I have to have the salami and beef sticks. The whole family loves them.

Take care of it properly and it's great. Like Rmanwill said, Thompson's salami and pepperoni sticks are another option. My kids like it better than jerky.

My brother in law loves the stuff. I got a old goat not so good. Stunk up the whole house when we cooked it.I would say manwill has the right idea !!!!
