That won’t happen either way. The manufacturers consistently prove their best interests lie in their bottom line. People will still buy Fords without the AM radio. CD players disappeared and nobody noticed.

AM is free and works great in the hills around here. Use it all the time. I like satellite but my old mountain beaters ain't new enough for that.

I guess ya get Sirius in your EV truck or put in your play list , and if it dies ya just charge it up!

AM is all I listen to. I just can't stand FM. Classic rock still playing the same crap, new country sucks, classic country, hard rock is playing same songs over and over and today's music well no thanks.

Got rid of Sirius radio years ago. Just as bad as FM. Same stuff over and over but at least ya got 200 other channels to listen to something else.
