Mexico may be talking to China on trade because they fear the one sided deal that Clinton gave them is going down the tube with Trump. They are hoping China can help them, but I think the Mexicans are going to find out that China will still produce cheaper products then Mexico can and they get screwed by China.

Only a lying bent wrist liberal would call Obama an average president. Your morals suck as much as Obama's did if you put the goal post that far down.

We buy way more chit from any of them than they buy from us. Who needs who the most?

Good theory, except they have to loan us the money to buy their chit.

What if we have to start paying our bills ? what if we have to pay taxes to fund the " awesome " military Trump wants to play with? will our economy survive? we'll be begging for scraps from the people we're flipping off . we're a debtor nation and at some point we'll become a bad investment. Trump is doing his best to get us to that status.

Impressive. so are you ready to bet Trump can beat Obama's record 75 straight months of job growth?

Show your orange pride and let's wager on it.

Stay Thirsty My Friends

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said that 805,000 manufacturing jobs have been created since President Barack Obama has been in office. In fact, there has been a net loss of 303,000 manufacturing jobs since January 2009.

Earnest made the statement during a press briefing on Nov. 30. Carrier, a heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration company, earlier that day had announced a deal with President-elect Donald Trump so that the company would ?continue to manufacture gas furnaces in Indianapolis, in addition to retaining engineering and headquarters staff, preserving more than 1,000 jobs.?

Earnest called the announcement ?good news,? but claimed that Trump would have to make another 804 deals like that to equal the number of manufacturing jobs created while Obama has been president.

Earnest, Nov. 30: Well, you know, obviously we haven't seen the details of the announcement from the company, but you know we'll obviously ? the early indications are that this is good news.

I know that the President-elect has indicated that he deserves credit for that announcement. And I guess what I would observe is that if he is successful in doing that 804 more times, then he will meet the record of manufacturing jobs that were created in the United States while President Obama was in office. There were 805,000 manufacturing jobs that weren't just protected or saved, but actually created while President Obama was in office.

So President Obama has set a high standard, and President-elect Trump can meet that standard if this Carrier deal is completed in the way that he expects that it will be. If he does that 804 more times, then he will have matched the standard established by President Obama ? at least when it comes to manufacturing jobs.

As Earnest noted, there is a difference between a job that is created and a job that is saved. But there are also jobs that are lost ? which Earnest ignores.

The president's press secretary comes up with 805,000 by counting job growth since February 2010, which was the low point for manufacturing jobs in the U.S. following the Great Recession from December 2007 to June 2009. The administration frequently uses February 2010 as a start date when calculating manufacturing jobs, as it did on Aug. 8 to announce Manufacturing Day.

But Obama was president long before February 2010.

Manufacturing employment was 12,258,000 in October 2016, according to the most recent estimates from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. That's down 303,000 from the number employed in January 2009, the same month that Obama was sworn in as president.

To make his point, Earnest just ignored all of the job losses that occurred during the first 13 months of Obama?s presidency.

Dude the above is from fact check, it appears that Obama may have cooked the books by not counting all the jobs that were lost in his first 10 months of office.
I do not bet on doctored information, but we will see how the jobs being created will go for the next year or so and I think it will be good.

Och, what a sore loser. Get over it. The mainstream American voters have dumped you and your stupid progressive mindlessness.

President Trump has done more to straighten out the mess and help the average citizens and workers in America and especially in the western US, and I would venture to guess he has done more good in 6 months than all of the other previous 6 Presidents put together.

We are seeing so much good in deregulation, border security, jobs and everything he promised he would do. He is ripping the sorry Demo-Socialist Party and their morons a new one everyday.

I feel so sorry for ignorant slobs such as yourself that can't come to grips with reality.

You go on and rant on your liberal ineptitude because you will soon realize the $500 you will owe me is going to look mighty good in my wallet. Our President will be an absolute shoo in for his second term. I think five crisp $100 bills will fit rather nicely in my old pocket book.

Now go up and get a new thread beleaguering the stupidness of the liberal left you so love. God what an absolute moron you are Och. You are beyond belief!

Dude, this action by Trump is going to increase many many thousands of jobs and help stop our depending on middle east oil and sometimes paying though the nose for that oil when the ragheads want to hold us up for more money.

The Trump administration is erasing an Obama-era rule that withdrew hundreds of millions of acres of federally owned land from possible energy exploration.

In the process, it is also opening some U.S. coastal waters in the Arctic and Atlantic oceans for possible oil and gas drilling.

Speaking at a Department of Energy event in June, President Trump said, ?We don't want to let other countries take away our sovereignty and tell us what to do and how to do it. It's not going to happen.?

White House officials say Thursday's order directing the Bureau of Land Management to speed up the permitting process for oil and gas leases is a step in that direction.

Couple the latest move with last week's repeal of the Clean Water Rule, and you have what administration officials call "a blueprint for energy dominance."

This latest decision also opens the gateway to a hydrocarbon-rich region thought to contain some 27 billion barrels of oil, and over 132 trillion cubic feet of natural gas.

This is all happening just as crude exports are on the rise -- surging to more than a million barrels every day in May and putting the U.S. on a record pace for 2017, according to government figures.

Analysts like Nicholas Loris of the Heritage Foundation believe that will mean more exports, hundreds of thousands of new jobs and, ultimately, more money in people's pockets.

?When you roll back the regulations, this means you're saving on your electricity bills, this means price of gasoline is coming down a few cents a gallon,? Loris said. "It can really ripple into tremendous economic benefits when that money is being put back into your wallet.?

Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke called the effort to reduce permit times for energy leases on federal land an example of "good government and will further support the president's goal of American energy dominance."

The Environmental Protection Agency also amended the "Waters of the United States" rules that critics called unfair to agribusiness.

"We are taking significant action," EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt wrote, "to return power to the states and provide regulatory certainty to our nation's farmers and businesses."

But Bob Deans of the Natural Resources Defense Council warns the administration is unwisely putting a price tag on the health and safety of Americans.

?It's shocking," he said. "President Trump is rolling back common sense safeguards to protect our air, land, water, rolling back real progress that we're making not only in fighting climate change but in creating the clean energy jobs of the future.?

Ironically, it was President Obama who lifted the 40-year ban on exporting U.S. crude oil and also approved about two dozen liquified natural gas export licenses.

The latter, according to President Trump, could prove to be an increasingly lucrative export market for Europe in the future.

Lots of good info in that post REHL. America must become energy Independant as sending our money to the Middle East is foolishness . We have more than enough natural resources within our nation to do it....Trump must Overrule the small wacked out environmentalist sector of misguided folks in our nation. Common sense regulations are without doubt needed BUT stupid lefty ideaology must the reigned in.
