Well, you can try holding it up to the eyepiece, or you can build a contraption to hold them relatively together. 3rd option, is to buy a screw in monocular that increases your zoom on your camera. I bought a Kenko 8X monocular for about $80 that increased my Sony's power from 20 to ~160 (20x8). In all cases I have tried the biggest trick is to get the setting correct between the 2 pieces of equipment. In the case of the minocular, it works at 20 power and at 160 and not much in between. Good luck with that and let us know what you come up with.
Using Panasonic FZ-10 and a Nikon 20-56 x 82mm ED glass scope.
Just checked the distance on my 3-d topo maps and the bull was approximately 1.85 miles from me. Or 9,768 feet away.
I'm just holding the camera up to my eyepiece. Although I do have a adapter to clamp down on eye piece but did not use it on this clip.
Hope this helps.
