We got the soffits boxed in on the cabin and the window installed. Now we can watch elk from inside, too. Then we went south on Agua Chiquita from the cabin to Scott Able and then followed West Side all the way back to High Rolls. The drive home took 3+ hours. Along the way, we saw 7 bucks, 4 does and 3 bulls. One bull was a 6XFunk - he had obviously damaged his left antler early on, as it was laid straight out to the side. It still had the classic sixth-point-split on the damaged antler. I really want to try to harvest this dude for the "different factor".
We also saw deer sitting around a cmpfire smoking cigars while the hunters of the camp were out stalking ghosts...
