Another Monster Tom Post

Got a late start on this lion. Slept in this day and went out after lunch. Cut a smaller track (small tom or female) that was smoking hot. Almost turned the dogs out on that, but decided to keep looking. Turned out to be a good choice.

Guy had to crawl way back into the cave in the background to get a shot.

That is a dandy of a tom.

That's a huge tom. Check out the size of that paw on that bad
boy and to think that the hunter went into the cave just to get
a shot at a very likely pissed off cat. Talk about having nads.
Congrats on a great hunt and trophy.

He was a big tom, but didnt have a tape on us. If I had to guess, I would say he probably weight around the 160 mark.

The hardest part was getting him out of the cave after the shot. But, we figured if the guy was gonna crawl in there to shoot hime, we better crawl in there and get him.

It was a good week, this was the 4th big tom in 6 days...
