Antelope help please...

I drew a San Juan North antelope tag and have been down on the unit once so far. I saw a few goats but nothing real special. I am interested in finding an area with some good numbers of goats to look over, any suggestions? Thanks.

I'm not sure what 'good numbers' are, the SJ has never been a unit for any sort of 'good numbers' as compared with other units in Utah, hence the few no. of tags. Your experience is pretty typical of what is there, a few goats here and there but the only time i have seen a heard with more than 20 or so animals is in the winter and I have not seen anything too special (80") ever comes off there. If you can find a buck that you are certain is in the mid 70's and 14" or so I wouldn't let him walk but that's just me.
