Any of you who have hunted antelope in November in MT, do you have much of a problem with the bucks shedding their horns. I've heard they shed in November, but I'm sure sure the timing of it.

Never hunted them in MT, but had a problem finding a good buck with horns in Wyoming in November, many years ago. Besides the fact that they are all herded up that time of year and you have to fool 100 sets of eyes to get to the one you want.

I know the "books" say they shed in November, but I hunted antelope in ID at the end of Oct and many of the bucks had shed one or both already. One of my antelopes horns pulled off while moving him into position to bone him out.
