I have experience with cooking/peroxide method, but hear that the "letting the skull sit in a covered bucket of water for a few days" method has advantages. Namely, it's not as much work. Let me know your experiences. Thanks for your input.
 
I've boiled the couple I've done. It is far quicker than maceration (letting it sit in water), but both ways will get it done. Alot can be said for dermistid beetles too. On the maceration, be sure that the water stays to a decent temp. Warm will no doubt increase bacterial action. Too cold will shut it down.
