Antelope Unit 64

I was in the area, so spent a half-day scouting Unit 64. Saw 250 or so antelope, including about 40 fawns. There were a few nice bucks in the mid-70s, but nothing near the 80 mark. Also saw a few sage grouse. Large sections appear vacant… but at least some antelope remain in the unit. There were scattered showers, and range conditions are excellent.

Haven’t been in that area but been in a few others around the state, it’s about as lush and green as I’ve ever seen it. Just to bad there isn’t much left around to utilize it !!!

I was in an adjacent unit this past weekend and it was about the same - lots of green but few goats to eat it.
