p.s. - please be considerate of his new dentures, he got his teeth nocked out in a freak rollerblading accident this summer.

Rocky dog,
Thanks for posting them. Ya that digital video camera I was using wasn't intended for great picture resolution I guess. Glad I took these pics though cause when I went to get my film processed they said the whole roll was over exposed. Great, my best antler I've ever found and the roll gets jacked up. What are the chances. I'm gonna have take them back out there and retake the pictures so I can have some decent stills. What a pain. Maybe in the process though I'll find the match to either of those antlers.

Those are great finds. Man, i thought they were a pair. If you could get the other half of both those that would be better than shooting a bull in my book. I really think the pics arent that bad, i wouldnt have focused on the shiny teeth if you hadnt mentioned it. The same thing happened to me with my camera on the biggest bull i ever shot, 348 bull taken on opening day of rifle season and not one field picture ever developed.

Im jealous you still got places to shed hunt this late in the year.

Didnt notice the teeth till ya said something, was looking at the huge shed! Thanks for posting. Is that a AZ. shed?

LAST EDITED ON Sep-25-03 AT 01:35AM (MST)[p]Yes it is an Arizona horn and it would definately go in the NT category. I'm pretty sure it's off of the bull that was just killed that grosses 453". It layed out there about 3-4 years in the sun. The drop point moved up the beam since then. I was fortunate enough to see a set of sheds that were found this January off this bull that would go 430-435". The drop point is higher up the beam. I'll try to get some more pics posted of them. I've got two right antlers off of this bull now. It's neat to see how the cheaters come and go in certain places on the rack over the years. He's had cheaters off of both 4ths in the past as well as little drop points off of the 3rds. When I videoed him back in Feb of '99 he was a 7x9 with matching cheaters off of his G4s and even a drop point off of his left antler under the G5. Crazy set of horns and crazy genes too. Would have loved to see his daddy.
