Any 36 Elk hunters see deer

I'm hoping to head up to scout again in the next two weeks but I was curious if anyone here had seen some bucks while chasing bulls.

My last trip for deer gave me nothing but elk up by Monjeau and Gavilan ridge.

Unfortunately is because most of the deer live in town. Go drive by the gold course in the evening and you will easily see a hundred.

Yup, I'm planning to spend part of my time hunting along the edges of town. It seems of of the best looking grassy rolling hills are almost impossible to get to since they are on the north end of the mountains (SE of Carrizozo) and blocked off by private. I would love to spot and stalk up there.

Nagel canyon had deer back in the day..we saw a few doe and small forkies last yr. A lion was n a canyon and saw deer ,elk bones ever where

small buck right by airport, some does but nothing good.
