Any 454 Casull owners?

LAST EDITED ON Aug-27-03 AT 11:36AM (MST)[p]Who takes a .454 hunting? If so, what gun do you use? I just picked up a Taurus Raging Bull with 8 3/8" barrel. Never owned a Taurus or had a desire to do so, but, I did a lot of checking and the Raging Bull has a good reputation. Any comments?

A friend of mine has one that he uses for bears and it is like using a 45-70 one shot and it's allover just wear your earplugs ,never heard a negetive comment on the pistol always performed perfect hot loads are not needed in one this size I shoot a smith 629 just put a scope on to try on white tails this year in north Id with cast 200grs good luck with the big gun pete
