We went 50%- 3 for 6. Very few deer for sure. Will post pics in another thread.

Wife ate her tag for 34. Had 2 real good opportunities on decent bucks. Once another hunter walked in on them and other time she could not find in scope and we ran out of daylight.
Passed on some small legal bucks. Definetly way to many tags issued for 34.
Not sure what G&F is thinking.
We saw hunters that we almost never saw hunters.
One good thing about some of the private land. At least on some of the ranches deer are taking refuge. It appears some of those guys are doing a better job of managing the deer on their properties than G&F is. Of course that is not the case on all the large blocks of private. They get hunted to death to.
