Anybody use a Fanny Pack?

I am going to buy a nice fanny pack to compliment my Badlands 2200 backpack. I am looking to get something like the Badlands Monster or RT Stealth Fanny pack. Have any of you used these packs? Can you use the Badlands Water straps with the RT Fanny or is it only for the Monster?

Are there other Fannys I should be considering? I like the Eberlestock Fanny but $120 is too rich for my blood. The Badlands 2200 will always be my "go to" pack, I am just looking for something a little smaller but still worthy to hunt a long day in and mostly used for hiking and scouting (for animals) trips.

I used to use fanny packs but it seemed like I never had enough room for all my stuff so I started using backpacks.
