Anyone in 52?

25 more days until the muzzy hunt starts, How are the bow hunters doing up in 52? Are the bulls talking up a storm?

Slow as of last Thursday.Very few bugles.I also saw groups of
cows with no bulls.Spikes still with the cows.I will be headed back up there in a couple days

Good luck to you guys, I'm getting very antsy. Last year it was super quiet for the muzzy hunt, I'm hoping that changes this year.

well parecido, the elk made a liar out of me, except for the first morning they were about dead silent. Of course the hunters bugling at 2 in the afternoon don't help, nor did all the dang grouse hunters.

Heck I even saw small cow groups unescorted, and twice watched bulls walk away from cows. It's like there is no rut this year!

Really? I wonder what's going on up there? That's how it was last year too....the whole time i was there i heard just a couple bugles and most of them were probably from other hunters. How was the weather up there lately?

It seem like 52 starts late every year. They was telling me the best dates was around the 20th so they should be starting to get going.

52 was a bust for me this year, 1st season Bow hunt. i should have brought my coyote gun and call, it would have been more productive than the elk hunting that i did. but best of luck to you.
