Hey, I ended up with a SPOT and used it for my September hunt. My registration runs out on the 30th but I can extend it for more October. It was nice to be able to send my wife an OK message once I was back at camp each night. However, If someone wanted to help offset my expenses, say $60 I would gladly extend the registration through October and give them the login information so they could change the user information (in case of using the SOS feature) the contacts and the customized message.
